Harold M. Pool Memorial Scholarship
The Harold M. Pool Memorial Scholarship was established by the Mile High
AITP Chapter in memory of its first president. The chapter was founded
in 1952 and Harold was an active member until his death in February,
2001.
To be eligible to receive a scholarship a student must be a member of
one of the following National AITP
student chapters associated with the Mile High Chapter:
- Mesa State College (MSC)
- Metropolitan State College of Denver (MSCD)
Letters of recommendation are solicited in the spring
from the faculty advisors of these student chapters.
In the spirit of Harold Pool, the recommended
student must be quite active in the student chapter, have a propensity for
mentoring others, and obviously care about the success of
others.
The selection will be made each May by the Mile High Chapter Pool
scholarship committee.
