Mile High AITP sponsors two scholarships for college and college-bound students. Please click on the links on the left for detailed information about each scholarship.

The Mile High Chapter of AITP currently offers two annual scholarships. Applications are solicited each spring and recipients are selected in May by the Chapter scholarship committees. Contributions are accepted at any time and are tax deductible. The scholarship accounts are administered by the national AITP office.

Each of the funds was created initially to accept contributions to honor the memory of a worthy individual who had contributed significantly to education in the Denver IT community. Since then, the Chapter has decided to commit to the continuation of these funds as an on-going support of IT education. Growth of the funds depends on Chapter fund raisers and through individual contributions.

The Dave Sanders Columbine IT Scholarship is granted to a graduating Columbine High School senior who intends to pursue a course of study in the IT industry.

The Harold M. Pool Memorial Scholarship  is granted to any current member of one of our student chapters.
